Post: Volunteer Recruitment, Training and Development Officer
 
Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: £21,140
We are currently seeking an experienced Volunteer Recruitment, Training and Development Officer to recruit, train and support volunteers across all aspects of our advice service including young people aged 16-18 as part of our Children in Need funded project: Young Citizens Advice.
The Volunteer Recruitment, Training and Development Officer will recruit and train young people 16-18 to act as advisers and develop the Young Citizens Advice Service as well as support volunteer development across all our services.
The Volunteer Recruitment, Training and Development Officer will have a proven ability to work with young people aged 16-18, to motivate them and provide the right learning environment, to manage volunteering issues and a commitment to the value of volunteering, a knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and the protection of young people and vulnerable adults and willingness to undertake further safeguarding training to support volunteers and maintain motivation, to deliver training modules, combined with understanding of learning techniques/theories.
An enhanced DBS check with a children's barred list check will be required for this post.
 
Post: Help to Claim Worker (2 posts)
 
Hours: 37 hours per week (part-time hours will be considered)
Location: Whitegate Drive, Blackpool with travel to outreach locations across the Fylde Coast.
Contract: Fixed Term until March 31st 2020
Salary: £21,164
We are currently seeking two Help to Claim workers to provide an effective and efficient support service for Universal Credit claimants.
The Help to Claim Workers will provide advice, information and digital support via face to face, telephone and webchat aimed at helping Universal Credit claimants through to their first payment and any additional support that may be required. Knowledge and experience of providing welfare benefits advice is desirable as is proficiency in IT, experience of providing digital support, an understanding of the issues involved in interviewing and supporting clients and an ability to travel throughout the area.
 
Post: Administrative Support Officer
 
Hours: 30 hours per week
Location: Whitegate Drive, Blackpool
Contract: Fixed Term until March 31st 2020
Salary: £16,354 (pro rata)
We are currently seeking an Administrative Support Officer to join our busy team.
The Administrative Support Officer will provide administrative support to managers and caseworkers with an emphasis on the smooth running of the Help to Claim service for Universal Credit clients. The role will require you to have an ability to provide administrative support and to maintain office systems, to use IT packages, including word processing / spreadsheet / database packages, to use email and to maintain an electronic diary, to write clearly and accurately, including drafting routine correspondence, and taking notes of meetings, numeracy skills and to work within established financial systems.
