Vacancy - Trainee/Debt Adviser

Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Whitegate Drive, Blackpool
Contract: Fixed term until 31/03/22 with possible extension
Salary £19,465 - £24,565

Citizens Advice Blackpool is looking to recruit an experienced Debt Advisor, or someone who has transferable skills and wants to train to become an accredited Debt Advice Caseworker.
If you are applying as an experienced caseworker, then ideally you will be an Approved Intermediary for Debt Relief Order applications, or you will be expected to undertake training to obtain intermediary status. If you are applying as a trainee, you will be expected to undertake training to reach caseworker level and subsequently, you would be expected to work towards intermediary status.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a flexible approach to working and the ability to prioritise work to satisfy funder targets.  You will work as part of a team to ensure our clients get the best possible money and debt advice to help them move forward with their lives.  You will be methodical in your approach whilst demonstrating our values as a service. 
You do not need experience to apply for the trainee role and we welcome applicants from the communities we serve in Blackpool.
