Volunteering at the Charity for your community

The Citizens Advice Bureau is a charity that relies on volunteers to maintain its service to the community. All of our drop in service general advisers are volunteers, as are the reception staff and several admin workers without who the service could not be provided.

You must be at least 18 years old to volunteer. There is no upper age limit. Full training will be provided free of charge to enable you to develop your skills. Trainee advisers undergo several months of trianing before they advise a member of the public and will learn interview skills, advice skills, learn about all the major enquiry areas, how to use our IT systems and much more. Gaining valuable skills for your own life and helping serve the community. Why not volunteer to put a few hours a week of your spare time to better use now?
